Today’s wedding inspiration is truly unique because of the inclusion of chinoiserie. This is not something you see in everyday weddings! Chinoiserie is a great mix of old and new and because of this, it’s perfect for a wedding day. We love the gorgeous hints of tropicals and the blue color palette that Eight Tree Street Floral incorporated into this Ajax DC Wedding inspiration. It offers a stylish and chic theme drawing from interior design that mixes colors in a gorgeous vignette. We are swooning over the delicate blooms, indigo hued stationary, and hints of Chinese inspired designs. Ajunero Photography masterfully captured these details in addition to the stunning portrait shots.
Lots of tropical greenery and tulips, hydrangeas and roses fit perfectly alongside locally grown peonies, snapdragons, and also cafe au lait dahlias. The design is delicate while evoking the fun of chinoiserie chic. One of the most noteworthy designs has to be the cake. And it was created by United with Love vendor Catherine George Cakes! The cake’s design not only reflects the overall theme but is also a work of art all on its own! The dreamy blue watercolor pattern paired with the sugar flowers resulted in a sophisticated, classic romantic look. Now if only we could take a big bite! Thank you to Eight Tree Street Floral for sharing this beautiful wedding inspiration with us!
