We are sharing a simple, yet utterly romantic DC wedding Elopement from Jen S Photography and Claire Duran Weddings. For this elopement shoot, they looked to bring DC wedding inspiration to couples who enjoy simplicity and elegance in an intimate environment surrounded by their dearest loved ones. With the never-ending winter we’ve experienced this year, they were enthusiastic about bringing in elements of early spring. The team incorporated gorgeous blush tones into the color palette, which worked perfectly with the bride’s attire, to achieve the feeling that spring had indeed arrived. The blush tulle skirt, in particular, was reminiscent of gentle movement brought about by soft warm breezes. To further the organic and free-form feel of the day, the floral designer Succulents and Saffron crafted the bride’s bouquet with freshly foraged wild blooms of tulip magnolias and cherry blossoms. Exchanging vows in the grand stone hallways of Union Station while reading beautifully calligraphic vows is no short of a memorable moment. Thank you so much to Jen S Photography for sharing this romantic elopement inspiration with us today!
