We love when our readers want to be able to take our inspirational stories and apply them to their own weddings. Washington DC is filled with traditional wedding ceremony and reception venues, so we love how Cheers Darling Events found a way to combine modern style in a garden inspired space. Paring together a modern color palette of white and mint accented with mirrors in a traditional garden setting made for a beautiful inspirational shoot. From the lush hydrangea centerpieces to the pretty wedding day menus and escort cards from the Dandelion Patch, each element can easily be incorporated into any wedding. What is so wonderful about inspirational shoots is the ability to recreate a perfect setting that is so hard for photographers to capture on the actual wedding day. For today’s shoot, each reception place setting on the table used a base plate layered with a show plate. A show plate allows for extra texture on the table and creates a more lux table top setting. For the budget friendly bride, drop the show plate but maintain the base plate. It creates a more polished place setting along with giving your table more texture and dimension. Thank you to Cheers Darling Events and K. Thompson Photography for sharing this garden inspiration with us today!
