When the bride is a local event professional, you know the wedding day will come with plenty of style! Arioth and Rosario’s classic Washington DC wedding is nothing short of fabulous. (But first, check out their traditional wedding ceremony first!) After exchanging their “I Do’s,” this cute duo hosted a cocktail style reception with lounge stylings and purple lighting that I just can’t get enough of. And, lucky for us, Documentary Associates Photography was behind to camera to capture every sweet moment!
From Arioth: Ros and I are both social people and we enjoy entertaining our family and friends. We preferred a more fast-paced, free flowing event which is why, from the start, we went with a cocktail styled reception. We were trying to create more of a lounge like feel… fun decor, plenty of great food & drink, and music to keep our guests moving!
Throughout the planning we stayed true to our personalities and entertaining style. I think that is why we and our guests, had such a memorable and enjoyable weekend!
Arioth’s wedding planning advice for other DC-area couples:
Great vendors make all the difference! From invitations, to linen, to catering, to photography, everyone that we worked with was FANTASTIC and true professionals! We honestly did not have any worries on our wedding day and were able to enjoy every moment!
