If you are worried about your wedding day breezing by, you’ll want to take a note from Jessica and Tim who decided to relive their love with a wedding anniversary portrait session in Maryland. After Tim’s recent deployment back to Afghanistan for six months, Jessica and Tim, who have been married for a couple of years now, reached out to Jessica Veltri Photography. They wanted to take some new photos in their wedding attire since the wedding day went by so quickly. They felt like they didn’t get enough of just the two of them enjoying themselves! Less than a week after Tim’s return from overseas, the couple headed out to Great Falls Park in Maryland, where Tim proposed, to capture some beautiful photos. So sweet!
From Jessica: When Tim and I got married we didn’t have any outside pictures done and I was a little disappointed. I thought we would try to get them done later that year, but we couldn’t manage it. Life kept on going and I got pregnant and we had a daughter. When she was three months old, we found out that Tim was going to be deployed for six months. I read a book that said that while your husband is away you shouldn’t “put life on pause,” so I came up with some goals to complete before he came back.
From Jessica: One of the goals was to lose all of my pregnancy weight. I achieved my goal and actually lost a bit more! The funny thing is that Tim and I wanted to try again for another baby as soon as he returned, and we did! I’m actually pregnant in these photos!
Thank you so much Jessica and Tim for sharing your anniversary photos with us. They are simply perfect!
