Katie and Paul’s Virginia wedding from Michelle VanTine Photography is the epitome of a casual, outdoor affair done right! From Katie’s sweet Swiss dot wedding dress, to her colorful paper flower bouquet (Yes, those are paper flowers!) she certainly pulled off a bridal look perfect for the beginning of summer. Morven Park is such a stunning Leesburg venue, and the mansion itself acted as a great backdrop for their intimate ceremony, complete with mason jar lemonade refreshments! The unique treats and DIY touches continue right on into their reception, so be sure to head back later to check it out!
From Katie: Our wedding was low-key, fun, and very “us”. We both wanted a casual and laid-back feel to the day so we put a lot of thought in to how to achieve that in all aspects. We also wanted to be very involved and do a lot of things ourselves.
Being escorted by my dad to Bon Iver’s “Come Talk to Me” was really special and also our post ceremony photos when it was just the two of us (finally!) were both favorite memories.
