We’re back with part two of Wendy and Ryan’s non-traditional Baltimore wedding from Jillian McGrath Photography. (If you missed their ceremony, check it out right here!) The modern and graphic feel continued into the intimate reception, and with their Italian inspiration, you know a good meal was had by all!
From Wendy: Our main priorities were that everyone have FUN! We didn’t want a traditional wedding. The thing we splurged on to ensure everyone had a good time was our Photobooth. It wasn’t a necessity, but it sure was fun!
Wendy’s advice to other DC-area couples:
Figure out what is important to you and what is not, and then stick to it and don’t let others try to tell you what you “should” do (especially if you are paying for part or all of your wedding). It was important to us to have a small, more intimate wedding, so this involved some hard choices on our invite list, but it was well worth it! Having a small intimate wedding ensured we could talk to all of our guests and it allowed us to spend more money per guest to ensure they had great food and drink and a great experience!
